Catherine + Adam featured on Poptastic Bride!

The Poptastic Bride loves to showcase outside-the-box weddings, wedding engagements, day-afters, and styled shoots. Cynthia, the owner of PB, describes her site as “Creative wedding ideas & inspiration for non-cookie cutter celebrations!” The couple below was a shoot I did a couple years ago but I wasn’t sure where to send it to be showcased. So it just sat in the archives, that is, until Cynthia spotted one of the images on our website.

The Tackle Lands on Moment Junkie

The Tackle Lands on Moment Junkie

As many of you know, we love the Moment Junkie. So recently we started submitting ourselves to their blog. And now, well, we got ourselves published once again! Below is a fantastic moment of the hairdresser/dance maniac that, out of no-where, jumps on one of the bridesmaides back and goes for a ride. There’s actually a series of these shots that is just hilarious. Special thanks again to the Moment Junkie! Enjoy ;-)

Another One For The Moment Junkie

Another One For The Moment Junkie

The Moment Junkie features us again! If you haven’t checked out their daily journal of killer moments be sure to click over and take a look. They might just turn you into a junkie. The moment below was taken at a wedding in Miami earlier this year. I love this exit of the couple just basking in the moment with their friends and family under a continuous waterfall of bubbles. Most couples dart for the car when they exit but the groom just stopped on this one, as if he decided in the moment, and the bride followed. They truly seem grateful for this special day and you can just feel their joy as they celebrate the gift of love!

Poptastic Bride Features King Street Studios

Poptastic Bride Features King Street Studios

The Poptastic Bride is a wonderful online publication that loves to support the bride that wants to do it her own way. It’s gotta be hard for brides that feel the pressure from family, friends, and just years of seeing the same thing, to branch out and design a wedding that is truly the way they want it. With the support of like minded brides, and wedding lovers like Cynthia of the Poptastic Bride, I think these online publication can really be that extra reassurance the new bride needs to go for it.

Getting Some Wedding Row Love

Getting Some Wedding Row Love

Charleston’s own Wedding Row drops some love for us by publishing Kendra and Mike’s big day. The Wedding Row has just exploded over the last couple years and we could not be happier for them. Della, the founder, has put together an absolutely beautiful website that stands above so much competition out there. I never used to submit anything to print or online publications. Most online blogs and wedding related magazines are just looking for detail shots to show future brides ideas of what has been done. Inspiration blogs basically. As a photographer that’s far more interested in the moments from a wedding and creating dramatic imagery that documents the emotions from the day- seeing 90% of a fabulous wedding that is published only end up being detail shots, collaged with a couple scenic shots and a venue pic, pretty much sucked out any motivation I ever had to submit. But then, another wonderful business came along called…

One For The Moment Junkie

One For The Moment Junkie

It’s always been about the moment for me. In fact you could easily call me a moment junkie. I live for them. In life, and through the lens. To me, a true moment is a moment at it’s peak, and even better yet, a moment at it’s peak with layers of other moments. Refer to the image here. In the foreground we have the couple completely alive in the moment. At the same time we have numerous people in the background engrossed and connected to the very same moment. These are my favorite types of images to capture. This is like hitting the jackpot for me, the grand slam, the momentous maximous! Now add on the fact that the little girl just happened to knee-jerk the same expression of embarrassment, for her own reason- or maybe the brides, is just plain awesome! And yep, that’s the brides father in the distance laughing along too.
